We are interested in building relationships with producers, directors, and writers who connect with emotionally intelligent, character-led work across shorts, features, and television.
Current and future Makoff projects sit in the territory of satire, comedy-drama, mockumentary, and conscious entertainment. Stories about mental health, identity, womanhood, spirituality, institutions, and the beautiful absurdity of being human.
We are especially open to producers who can support development, financing, packaging, production strategy, festival positioning, distribution pathways, and long-term IP growth.

On rare occasions, Leena brings her development instincts to projects outside the Makoff slate.
This is not a consultancy service. It is something that happens when the creative alignment is strong enough, the project has genuine potential, and the conversation feels worth having.
Leena's particular strengths are concept shaping, story development, tone, character work, and helping artists find the emotional and structural spine of what they are trying to make. She is especially strong at the beginning of things, when the idea is alive but not yet formed.
